@yorkiebea
Born Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary on August 8, 1988, the first child for the Duke and Duchess of York. She would be the second granddaughter for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip and fifth in line to the throne. Princess Beatrice would begin her education in 1991, when she
was seven years old she would be diagnosed with dyslexia. Her parents would divorce when she was eight, but remembers her parents having a strong bond. In 2008 the Princess would begin studying at Goldsmiths College in London, she would graduate in 2011.
In 2005 would be the first time that Princess Beatrice would open up about having dyslexia. She would later be quoted as saying “Dyslexia is not a pigeonhole to say you can’t do anything. It is an opportunity and a possibility to learn differently. Dyslexics have magical brains,
they just process differently. Don’t feel like you should be held back by it.”
At a young age, she would begin to accompany her mother at charity engagements. She would begin her own charity work with Springboard for Children (a literacy project for children with learning
disabilities) along with Teenage Cancer Trust. In 2010, Princess Beatrice would raise money for Children in Crisis and be the first member of the royal family to complete the London Marathon. She would also become patron of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. In 2012, she would
begin to take on more roles, one being accompanying the Queen and Prince Philip at the Royal Maundy Service on April 5, 2012. The princess would interact with parishioners, receive flowers and assist the queen as she passed out official Maundy money to the pensioners. Leading up
to the Summer Olympic Games, Princess Beatrice would welcome the Olympic flame on the steps of Harewood House. The princess would begin to work with patronages including York Musical Society and the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. @ArkellDyslexia
Princess Beatrice is the founder of Big Change ( @bigchange_ ) a charity she established with six of her friends to encourage young people to develop skills, outside a traditional academic curriculum. She would take on many challenges to raise money for charities, in 2012 she
climbed Mont Blanc Mountain. In 2016 with Richard Branson she would participate in the Virgin Strive Challenge climbing Mount Etna in Italy. In 2015, the princess decided to move to New York City. While at work she's known as Beatrice York, she's Vice President of
Partnerships and Strategy at Afiniti. Also to engage senior business chiefs around the world to support women in leadership. She would help promote the anti-bullying book Be Cool Be Nice, as well as discuss her experience about being bullied. Princess Beatrice would become the
first member of the royal family to appear in a non-documentary film where she would have a small, non speaking role as an extra in The Young Victoria (2009 movie based on her ancestor).
September 26, 2019 it would be announced that Princess Beatrice would marry Edoardo Mozzi.
Due to Covid-19, the wedding plans would change. To our surprise the couple would have a very small private and intimate wedding on July 17, 2020. She would wear Queen Mary Fringe Tiara, the same tiara that her grandmother Queen Elizabeth would wear on her wedding day. Her gown
would be one that would be remodeled and loaned to by the Queen. The princess would look stunning on her wedding day, and truly honoured her grandmother on her own special day.

We look forward to seeing Princess Beatrice continue her amazing work, and what projects are to come
