I don’t talk about this much, but I am sharing this as a “hey, you’re not alone!” to other women in ministry:

I have a ton of female friends in *ministry*, but finding mentors who are leading in the *church* has been difficult. I feel lonely a LOT.
When Ike and I planted our church, he literally had multiple men in our area offering to meet with him and counsel him. I, on the other hand, have had to seek this out intentionally, outside our city & state, and I still have far fewer mentors available to me than he does.
Most days it doesn’t bother me— while on other days it bothers me a lot—but if you are in that spot, I want to remind you this is a big reason why our calling matters. We are becoming the resource we needed.
