I listened to some chat about UK r&b on ClubHouse, a lot of people have no idea & think it's all about US acceptance. Just be original, we don't need a UK Kehlani, Bryson Tiller, Ty$, Ari Lennox etc.
Soul 2 Soul & Terence Trent D'arby are before a lot of people on Twitter's time, but they did something original and won Grammy's & broke in the US.
My point is be original. Uk Rap has it's own characteristics different from US rap so it's grown, UK Drill is so far away from the Chicago Drill scene that inspired it that the US has taken our sonics & adopted it. Nobody wants to be copied badly & then asked for acceptance.
