FYI- uber eats tips the drivers and not servers, if possible call and order DIRECTLY through the restaurant and tip the staff prepping your food!!! if you’re ordering take out to support small businesses you should be tipping the SAME amount you’d be tipping if you ate in person!
when i worked as a server last summer there was a night i prepped 1,500 in uber eats and made ZERO in tips from it. please if you’re going to support local call and order and tip the staff.
