and involuntary retirement is a poor outcome on two counts:
- you have to live off savings for longer
- you lose opportunities to grow those savings further

People forced into involuntary retirement due to care demands often face similar challenges
And it's worrying if the govt's proposed Restart programme is indeed designed on the principles of the Work Programme - that generated poor outcomes for older jobseekers

we need a more tailored approach and to challenge ageist recruitment practices
