In May, Farah Maalim met Raila Odinga and aspiring coast governor Suleiman Shahbal who requested him to rally for postponement of the case, which if Somalia wins the Kenya coastal people will be most affected. Farah convinced Farmaajo to consent to this ulterior motive.
