Racial disparities in severe COVID risk were substantial:

Non-white vs white essential workers = 2.4X risk

Non-white vs white non-essential workers = 3.3X risk
The health care worker detail was also striking.

Medical support staff (care assistants, transport workers) = 8.7X risk vs non-essential workers

Nurses, therapists, paramedics = 7.5X

Doctors, psychologists, pharmacists = 6.2X
