Another incredible point - the reflection portion of a lesson is NOT just for the student to reflect, but meant to be a 2 way street to provide feedback to both the student and teacher on the activity #VSTE20
Goals of leading #AppsDays: Building a familiarity with a FEW tools that will set students up for success to show what they know! Choosing tools that will be used throughout the year (AND most importantly get to know students). Start with familiar content (goal setting) #vste20
Students can work at their own pace, making choices from the entire package, encouraging them to "poke every button" and discover what is new! #VSTE20
These two days have given students a lot of time to explore, have fun, find all the incredible opportunities that they will use in many of their classes. Between the 4 apps and the GSuite exploration, they build a toolbox #VSTE20
Created stickers for students when they complete - learners add these to their laptop lids and other teachers know who has had the experience/familiarity with the tools! #VSTE20
