You what I miss about Transformers just now? When it wasn't entirely about the 1980's legacy characters.

Kingdom is mostly Beast Wars, but we're still getting G1 characters. Selects is mainly doing G1 repaints and retools. Studio Series is now G1.
Meanwhile, BotBots is over, and Cyberverse seems to be on the way out. Cyberverse is very G1 styled, but at least they drew from other continuities and did new stuff. Its real a shame that the actual toys largely weren't up my street.
Mind you, its been good to see Prime get a few Selects reissues, and the occasional UC retool.

The weird thing is, I think I might be liking Siege more now than I did at the time, if only because it mixed things up a bit.
I'm undecided about Earthrise. It was strong outta the gate, but I'm less keen on the later waves, and the how the baseformer aspect turned out. Mind you, there's much I haven't personally messed with just yet.
