Did you know on the 22nd of June 2020 the spanish owned German registered Pesorsa Dos fishing vessel 30 miles sw of shetland deliberately put a rope in the water and dragged it around the Lerwick boat Alison kay from port to starboard to try and fan her up as we call it whilst /1

She had all her fishing gear in the water. Basically she tried to sink her and because it was outside the 12 mile limit we have no powers to do anything. These incidents happen all the time to us by the EU boats in our own waters.
How would you feel about this?

I know this incident is worrying but what strikes me is the boat is registered in Germany yet owned by spaniards which proves they are still quota hopping and abusing the system without being held to account
