WE ARE LIVING IN INDIA, NOT BHARAT

(ruined education system)

A thread
On Aug 15, 1947 India was officially declared independent from the British rule, but did we really become independent?

The worst thing one could do to someone is to annihilate the sources of his knowledge. Same thing happened with us. In the midst of modern day education system
Sanskrit got no significant place. As a result, the new generation turned out to be much poorer in Sanskrit. This subtle change in education system shook our roots so badly that now, we hardly find people who can read and understand our untranslated scriptures.
Not only the education system, but our mindset was also westernised. For us, Hindi and Sanskrit became old-fashioned languages. Within years, India's population increased rapidly, but our moral values declined at a faster rate. In Gurukuls, students were taught Indic scriptures,
which carried both scientific and moral knowledge, but the modern education system lacked that 'moral education'. As a result, now we see many children are not emotionally attached to their parents. Husbands and wives don't realise their duties for each other
and regular conflicts.

Just a little change in our education system played havoc with our country.
