Happy 6 year anniversary to my favorite album of all time. J. Coles 3rd studio album.

I will start by saying that this album brought me into hip hop and once I came across this album I realized how great of an artist Cole is.

My favorite track off FHD and my favorite track of all time is most definitely Apparently. Production is pure and rapping is top tier Cole. This song can never be dethroned.

If I were to pick the tracks I love on FHD it’s definitely Fire Squad, ATO2C, GOMD, No Role Modelz, January 28th, Love Yourz, and 03’ Adolescence. It’s hard to choose because they’re all amazing to me.

I would say that this album definitely made me a bigger fan of Cole. I wasn’t into him fully until Born Sinner and FHD dropped and then I got into FNL and TWU later on.

His previous studio album Born Sinner was one of my first ever listens of J. Cole as I enjoyed Land Of The Snakes and Power trip got me hooked.

Let’s not forget about 4 Your Eyez Only. They share this day together and are both top tier hip hop albums. 2 classics. 2 10s. Both albums solidified J. Cole as one of the best to ever do it. Cmon now

This album will forever hold a special place in my life and i’ll never forget listening to it for the first time. Helped get through life and still does to this day it’s just brain food. Masterful.
