If you hate Deepika, you can mock her for various things. Tell she is not good actor, can't dance, takes maal, is pr queen, did skin whitening - any lie or truth you want to go after, you can.

But when you mock depression, just bz it happened to her, then it is not about her!
Not just fans, many who go through that illness feel triggered. If someone of Deepika's stature is not believed and is mocked then what can someone else expect from this society?!

Have you thought about it from the perspective of someone who has been through that illness?
And for some reason if you do believe she is doing a business or publicity stunt, let's assume you are right. Then?

She could've just kept talking about it and milked it if all she needed was publicity.

If it is about making a business out of it, okay fine. But is it doing
Something for the cause? Is the foundation helping out people? Are they conducting awareness campaigns across the nation? Did many desi peoole google about depression and learn about the term when she talked about it?

Then she has already made a difference. Period.
So where does that leave you, who mocked her over depression?

You have no legitmate proof for your false claims against her. You are jot helping someone who is suffering from the same illness by mocking Deepika. If anything people like you encourage the stigma.
