How to get hype sneakers. A thread.
1. Invest in a bot. There are many bots. If you do the research and ask the right people, you can find what bot works best for you. Bots take a lot of work to setup and maintain. I don’t use bots because they don’t fit my sneaker needs.

2. Make multiple SNKRS/FLX etc accounts. You should have an account for every cell phone line in your house. For accounts that don’t require phone numbers, you can make infinite accounts. The hard part is entering each draw/drop for each account. Again- it takes work.
3. Frequent your local sneaker shops. Get familiar with the people who work there. The manager. The owner. Spend money there, especially the boutiques. If you become a regular, you will get perks.
4. Get your status up to the highest tier on all the sneaker sites. This requires spending money. On some sites if you spend $1k+/year, your chances on hype releases are much better.
5. Turn on Twitter alerts for the main sneaker accounts. Be fast when they tweet restock links. You’re racing 30-500k other people. Keep this in mind when you’re trying to check out.
6. Enter the raffles. All of them. For all of the people in your household. Your chances are slim but every once in a while you will hit raffles. You can’t win if you don’t enter. Again, this takes work. Time and effort. No one is just logging in and hitting every single raffle.
7. Sell what you have to buy what you want. Some releases you’ll hit multiple shoes. Some you’ll hit 0. There will always be a trade partner out there somewhere.
All of these things take effort. If you’re not willing to put in the effort, don’t cry when you don’t get the shoes.
8. I almost forgot the most important thing- build relationships with other sneakerheads. Ideally ones that wear the same size as you, but generally that doesn’t matter. Oop them. Do them favors. They will return the favor. If they don’t, cut em off.
