India has so much democracy that it's supreme court doesn't hear habeas corpus cases for a year, that a bail plea is not heard because the CJI is offended at negative coverage in the press, that 85% of cash was destroyed as currency in a mere statement.

SO MUCH DEMOCRACY.
It has so much democracy that it denies a straw to a 81 year old detainee with Parkinsons, that the death of a judge with blood on his clothes and the wrong date on his ECG cannot be investigated, that people are charged with orchestrating protests when they were in jail.
It has so much democracy that a Union Minister can say Goli maaro sab ko, shoot them all, in the context of peaceful, Constitutional protests, that another Union Minister can argue that all communications in a whole state has to be suspended because "terrorism".
It has so much democracy that the Prime Minister cannot answer questions to the press, that more millions are rendered stateless than the Rohingya in an arbitrary and opaque process in just one state, and this is proposed to be run across the country.
