This is all to say, keep it simple. Stop burying your skills in fonts from 1001freefonts dot com. Don’t plumb the depths of Pinterest for #STANDOUT resume templates. Honestly, just use the basic resume template in Google docs.
Yes, your resume may be 1 of 350, but I am reading all of them, so make them accessible. You also don’t know if the person reading them has a vision disability, learning disability, etc. Check out http://webaim.org/techniques/fonts for some helpful lessons on readability.
