Things designers do but don't talk about:

*THREAD*
Getting stuck half way through a design and visiting Stripe's website to see how they do things
Designing solutions we like then when asked pretend it was to benefit the user in some way
Inspecting element on other designers portfolio's to see what font they used
Trying 10 different new fonts on your new project when you know deep down you're going to use the same one you always do, but maybe this time it's different?
Using the eyedropper tool to grab colours from other designs, then slightly adjusting the colour just so it's not *exactly* the same
Trying to guess in your head what font was used on literally any packaging you see in stores
Downloading an icon from the noun project, deleting the text and hoping no one ever notices
Spending hours setting up components when you’re just going to detach instance as soon as it’s inconvenient
