I’m obsessed already with Lee Johnson’s Ego and ‘Management Speak’.

The bloke is a crazy combination of Brendan Rodgers,David Brent, Steve McLaren and Alan Partridge 😂

Here’s some of my early favourites -

“I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point in the relatively near future there’s a robot manager, with subs made based on physical and technical data. 'If player x comes on, your expected goals will go up 4%.'

Someone will try it, genuinely.”
“I get up every morning, take a big sniff of air and say, ‘I’m turning up today and going to leave this place better than it was 24 hours ago.’ ”
“Man City have been investing in me personally for 4 or 5 years. I can’t thank them enough.
When I was at Oldham, City actually employed somebody as a personality profiler, who used to come and see me every 5 or 6 weeks and talked through various scenarios”
“We have to do the basics well, and be aggressive in our simplicity”
“My assistant manager keeps telling me I have to get into meditation, to relax.

I’ll meditate when I’m dead. In the meantime I’ve got to get promoted.”
“I’ve recently been talking to a guy who has amassed about 9,000 hours of interrogation at military level in war zones. He was fascinating, and I’m trying to work out whether I can bring some of that into my management.”
“I want my teams to be busy bees, to have the hunger and enthusiasm to get on the ball, to create numerical advantages through overloads and choreographed patterns of play and to be world class on the transition.”
“We had the Red Arrows in. The theme was communication. If you’re Arrow 1 & Arrow 2 is 6ins out you’re dead

I got DJ Locksmith from Rudimental, to talk about his journey. A lot of the lads followed him on my Instagram. Inspiring story, came from nothing, unbelievable character”
