I see
posts from folks fresh to the markets asking traders to tell them how to make profits

They want to know if a trader is still in a certain stock? should they average down? Should they sell? What must they do? If only somebody would tell them how it’s done

Company A is downtrending. At £1.25 Trader X says, ‘Opened a position in Company A’. You check the SP it’s now at £1.23 so you buy your full position. The stock continues to drop. Then Trader Y posts, ‘Company A at £1.06, if it breaks £1.00 it could really plummet’

That gets into your head. At 98p you think ‘Trader Y was right, I’m out.’ You sell. Company A drifts down to 92p. You think, ‘great move getting out of that dog, Trader X is a clueless ****.’ You take your loss. Then Trader X posts, ‘I’ve taken more Company A at 93p’.
Then the stock reverses. It gets back to £1.20 and Trader X says, ‘moving nicely into profit on Company A’ You think, ‘how did he do that? I got a cheaper entry than him and I still had to take my loss
. At £1.50 Trader X posts, ‘Company A, taken some profits off the table’.

The SP continues trending up. At £1.70 Trader X says, ‘all out of Company A now, banked profits.’
You are frustrated and angry. You ask ‘What must I do’??’
You must own YOUR trades.
