In March/April it was all about “flatten the curve” so we don’t overwhelm the healthcare system. Now that the numbers are surging and the spread is worse @MassGovernor is more than happy to keep first responders and healthcare workers inundated because we have the beds and PPE.
Who cares that they’re bruised from wearing safety gear. Who cares that they have anxiety/PTSD from caring for COVID patients. Who cares that they’re burned out and some haven’t had a day off in months. Who cares that they have to tell families their loved one won’t make it.
We have the beds! We have the PPE! We opened field hospitals! We’re fine! No need to roll back opening the state!

They’re working their asses off for us so that @MassGovernor can keep restaurants and bars open rather than go back to phase 2 and tax the rich for business relief.
How about showing some gratitude for the medical staff and scientists busting their butts every day by taking some action to lighten their burden?

Since Gov Baker won’t, let me say thank you healthcare workers. You don’t deserve to be treated like the dam holding back the flood.
