Many #mayogaa players told me that he was the first to put their name in paper for football. I've seen scrapbooks consisting almost entirely of his reports. Still writes for 3 local papers weekly. 88 next month. Might come back as PRO in a year or 2, break'll do him good...

He got awards along the way - 30 years, 40, 50, that kind of thing -- but damn it to hell he never got the hint & stuck at it, because he loves it. Joined Twitter, Facebook and - for the job offers - LinkedIn. Hasn't mastered TikTok though. Well, not yet anyway. We live in fear.

Hobbies and being involved keeps people alive. We should encourage senior citizens as much as, if not more than, we support the young. Overlooking the old is an easy trap. We're all here for a mere blink of an eye. If you die at just 20, you were old at 19. Rage, rage...
