Too many LGBT people still don't think sport is for them.

It’s why #RainbowLaces Day is so important as a way of showcasing how the LGBT community is smashing it across sport at all levels.

Don't believe me? Here's a thread, based on some of the people we've had on the podcast.
From making history at the Olympics to smashing glass ceilings, LGBT people are making their mark inside and outside the boxing ring.

If you're into rugby union, you should probably know that LGBT people are winning World Cups, refereeing World Cup finals, and hosting MASSIVE inclusive tournaments.

If you're more of a rugby league person, that's cool.

A lot of people talk about how men's football isn't inclusive - and yet people from the community are reffing, managing and running clubs.

Maybe you want to report on sport?

If so, great - as you'll find LGBT people doing everything from editing major publications to commentating on top games.

Now, I'm not going to list all 138 episodes we've released since 2018.

But the point is that EVERYONE belongs in sport - and #RainbowLaces Day is a great way of showing that.

And whether you are LGBT or an ally, we all have a part to play in making sport inclusive for all.
