How does Justin Fields stack up to the greatest QB prospect in college football history? The short answer is pretty well.
You won't find many who would take Fields over Lawrence (including me). There are a few reasons for that but that doesn't mean the gap is big necessarily

Lawrence is of course a winner. They both have only lost one game since 2019 except Lawrence lost to a historic LSU team, while Fields lost (thank Chris Olave) to Trevor Lawrence and Clemson in the CFB Playoff semi-final
Lawrence also has his natty as a freshman but whatevs...

Statistically, though they are probably a lot closer than you would think on a per-game basis ('19-20):
Lawrence

PassTD: 2.43
INT: 0.48
YPA: 9.36
RushYrd: 29.74

Fields

YPA: 9.76

RushTD: 0.79

Does this mean I think that Fields is better than Lawrence, of course not. I think that Lawrence is just a more pro-ready quarterback than Fields...
BUT in terms of fantasy value! These guys are essentially neck and neck in production which most aren't paying attention to

I think this opens the question of, is Trevor Lawrence really that far ahead of Justin Fields? Is there a world where Fields could be equally valuable and a likely VALUE in the offseason for fantasy owners?
