Let me make something clear about those new CDC guidelines: a 10-day quarantine is not fool-proof. There is still a 1-10% risk of transmitting COVID-19 if you do not go the full 14 days. (1/3)
The reason the CDC adjusted their recommendation is to try to get more people to do SOMETHING since so many people are doing NOTHING about preventing transmission. (2/3)
The CDC still is recommending a full 14-day quarantine before interacting closely with people outside of your household, especially if there are high-risk people involved. Be safe people! Either complete a full and complete quarantine or stay home this holiday season. (3/3)
