The further restrictions to conservation authorities introduced on Friday includes a provision that says the clauses don't apply to the Greenbelt.
But the Greenbelt Council, which resigned en masse in protest, pointed out that for watershed planning purposes conservation authority decisions *do* affect what happens in there, because water doesn't stop at arbitrary borders.
Additionally, while the premier decried cash-for-access donations in his response today, the PC government rolled back those donation reforms.
