I’ve noticed a lot of people on the right souring on classical NRX theory.

If I wasn’t in the middle of a video about personal advice (and short on time generally), I would probably make a video defense. I suppose Twitter will have to suffice. 1/ https://twitter.com/RoyalEndeavour/status/1336105622710996994
Ok first, what is obviously going on. The election happened. We all find ourselves in much more dire circumstances, the egg-headed abstractions and passivism of Yarvin and others SEEMS less relevant (typically NOT less descriptively accurate, but I will get to that).
In the wake of these emotions, I think some people are walking away from a lot of Wisdom that is all the more essential now when things are rapidly getting worse. 3/
First, we need to remember that just because there is a problem happening fast, doesn’t mean that the possible action one has fast at hand is the correct way of dealing with it. Prudent action is born out of recognizing opportunity, NOT out reacting to desperate circumstance. 4/
I want to emphasize this point because it is a mistake that has HOUNDED the right for 200 years. They see things deteriorating quickly and this convinces them that they MUST start conflicts they have NO CHANCE of winning. Anyone want to repeat long this historic cycle? I don’t 5/
Second, we need to remember truth is eternal, power is fickle. REALISM is what makes the right perennial. So much of right wing popular pushes rely on untruths for their fuel, e.g. that the peasants have some kind of power that allows them to dominate the elite left. 6/
Each of these untruths while “practical”, create their own cycle of futility that I really, really don’t want repeat. Does this make me an egghead? I don’t know. I want action, but I want it to be Prudent action that accomplishes something. 7/
But what about the question of truth? Aren’t people like Endeavor calling into question core reactionary propositions (e.g. the problem is globalist bad actors not our pseudo/Protestant tendencies). Well, this is a more subtle question than you might imagine 8/
Let’s take the question why Americans are fat.

Our options:
1. Personal choices
2.cynical marketing campaigns by food companies
2. Our calorie/grabbing tendencies adapted for Hunter-gatherer societies

The answer? All three. But it matters which you emphasize. 9/
A teacher or coach will rightfully always emphasize 1. , the government beareaucrat IN POWER will need to focus on 2. , however for people who are concerned with imagine the CREATION of a new system will need to rely on understanding 3. 10/
The reason why the DAvos set are in power is that they are only ones with a vision that accounts for what humanity REALLY IS. They own a monopoly on realistic dreams & win by default. The persistently delusional “anarcho” left is no threat to this monopoly, the right could be11/
The great deficiently on the right is not a lack of realism, nor being able to “act quickly”. The absence is one of imagination and vision, the vision of the future people love and that is suited for what we are. Without this the left will always win no matter how demented. 12/
The basis of anyvision has to be deep truth, whether expedient or not. NRX theory was a start to this, & for my money a good first step. We would be remiss if we walked away from this wisdom just because it didn’t fit into the messaging of a contested election 13/13
