So I auditioned to be on this tv show like two years ago.
And the casting director LOVED ME.
Like I was POSITIVE I had it. She couldn’t stop raving about me. We talked for so long like we was just shootin the shit and I was like “yeah that spot is mine”

She told me when they planned on recording the new season but didn’t know when they were notifying those who made it yet. So let’s say the interview happened in November & the new season airs in June.
It’s like March & I haven’t heard anything back. So I assumed they chalked me

I was like really devastated. I was positive this opportunity was gonna skyrocket my brand. Like this was gonna give me the push I needed. And I beat myself up for months thinkin about what I coulda did or said different
Bitch come to find out the show didn’t even get renewed for another season lmao. So it wasn’t me...it was them.

And honestly, seeing the lives of the contestants after the first season (I follow them all on IG) it may have not even given me the push I THOUGHT it would. Shit just really mighta not been great for me all around and here I was DEPRESSED ok
