I spent yesterday afternoon listening to many frontline @UnitedNurses nurses break into tears as they talked about how terrified they are to be losing their ability to keep themselves and their patients safe. #abpoli #COVID19AB

This is happening either because they are so short staffed they can’t safely provide care, or because of policy changes that will likely force them to work in situations where they don’t actually have the knowledge or skills to provide care safely.

Even worse, they continue to have to fight to have the PPE and policies in place to protect themselves from COVID-19.
They feel they are being thrown under the bus, they are exhausted, they are overwhelmed, they are scared, they are worried.
