Trading in dynasty doesn't always have to be a tear down or a playoff push. Sometimes you just see value and take it and use resources the best you can [thread]
In a Devy where I was in good shape at RB heading into the season I shopped Kamara just to see what I could get
Wound up with Dobbins, a 2020 2nd round rookie, a 2020 Devy, a 2021 rookie first & a 2021 Devy first
landed Bijan Robinson, George Pickens & Dyami Brown and still have two 2021 rookie firsts & two 2021 Devy firsts
...made the playoffs this year

In another spot I traded Preston Williams for two 3rds in SF because we're going to have some fantastic WR prospects in the 3rd round in SF leagues. Love Preston but with the injury and MIA likely going WR early his window may be shutting, even tho he's young
One thing ppl ask me is "would you trade Player X for a 3rd?" And I always try to get ppl to put a face to that pick. Know the class. Know the league format. In Devy, know who is rostered from the class
Because prospect evals are so variable, some Devy leagues may not have Jahmyr Gibbs rostered so now a Devy early first is huge to land him. You just have to know your pool of available players in these leagues
Don't think in terms of picks. Think about the players you'll have available at those picks. Then you can identify value better and not always feel like you are "blowing it up" or "tanking" when you trade players for picks. Trade players for players
