Can we just get one thing straight wrt C*ntrapoints?
She has expressed, in her own words, that she put B*ck in her video because "I knew the trans community hates him the trans community hates me too" and it was NOT a lack of awareness that caused him to be featured.

Quite a bit of time has passed and I'm still seeing this "it was an easy mistake to make, I didn't know who he was either" stuff and yes, that may be true of you (random trans people saying this) but that wasn't true of her when she included him.
It's really wrong that despite her literally saying otherwise, the narrative has just sorta faded into this casual downplaying of what actually happened, what she actually said.
You can go listen to her own words on the subject. It's so odd that this angle has stuck.

People have calmed down and that's cool but this "I have some criticisms of her too but they were all easy mistakes..." especially when coming from other white trans people
No they weren't, and if you find what she did relatable it could very well be due to your own privilege

Nobody is out here with these "relatable mistakes" narratives for any trans person who isn't white and passing so please think more critically
I had to change my @ because she threw me to the mob... same ones dogpiling me were defending her "relatable mistakes" sooo, eat shit

& yeah I am bringing this up now cause a video just got put out that absolutely includes these lukewarm nods to "I'm critical too" but then proceeded to downplay the issue in these same subtle ways that appeal to privilege and can easily slide under the radar if you're not aware
Now if you forgive her or think the reaction was too strong, that's all besides the point if you can't even admit *what she actually did* in the first place without softening it
All you're going to do is make your motives for preaching moderation seem suspect

While we're at it, the issue with C*ntra's relationship to nonbinary folks and trans women who don't pass was never EVER an issue of "weird phrasing" that's a literal fucking lie.
I just wanna see one single C*ntra apologist start from the basic facts of the situation and work from there. Make your points about how you think we should react, give us your deep analysis of left culture or whatever without downplaying the initial harm caused please.
