Except for paddy in Punjab & Haryana and Urad in Maharashtra and Karnataka, avg prices of most crops in most states were well below MSP.

Even paddy prices in UP, Chhattisgarh & Telangana were 15% below MSP.
The most sizeable losses came in Maize whose prices have suffered this year. In Oct and Nov, prices were below MSP by as much as 40% in major producing states. The total loss in maize was Rs 485 crore

Even paddy farmers in states other than Haryana and Punjab suffered losses
Overall farmers in all major agricultural states, with the exception of Punjab & Haryana, saw net losses.

In Karnataka, prices for maize, soybean, groundnut, moong, bajra, cotton, jowar, ragi and paddy were below the MSP in both the months.
