IPC guidelines mean you can't be sending staff around to different departments from cohort / positive wards.
All staff, front line and support service staff are self testing for C19 and won't be in work if the test shows a positive result. This means you have to shuffle resource

So you've got everyone, including cleaners and porters under resourced and under staffed.

You want to release people to go out, on the piss during December after a shit year, time when hospital admissions spike massively and EDs are at their absolute worst for patient capacity.
