RM: Daddy Long Legs (DLL) thread
There is no set moral in the novel. DLL paid for Judy's education bec he believed that she can become a great writer w/ a condition to write to him every month about her life & study AND NEVER to expect any reply. +

On one of her letters, she mentioned how the people around her view God and how she is "thankful that she is free to make up her own mind about God." And one mentions about imagination. +
Judy is a girl full of dreams despite the difficulties in her life, she is trying to find her place in the world. And as she wrote her letters to DLL, he have witnessed Judy's growth & change thru it even without "seeing" her. +
We believe that DLL is a story fit for Namjoon as a musician & as person. He can both Judy & Daddy Long Legs. He writes his music for his fans without expecting any responses in return but just of comfort. And his fans believed he can be a great musician, so they supported him +
Judy & RM's view of life itself are pretty similar. And most often we can see that in his songs, as well as how he grew & changed as an artist. DLL gave Judy a voice in the novel thru her letters. And this is what RM has been doing ever since. +
Daddy Long Legs and Judy communicated through letters, and with RM and ARMYs, they communicate through songs, a kind of letter coupled with rhythm. And even if we didn't technically have seen each other, we have witnessed e/o growth thru music +
It's interchangeable. RM as Judy & ARMYs as Daddy Long Legs giving him an opportunity or RM as Daddy Long Legs & ARMYs are Judy, through him we get our voices and chances.
And we think, it's beautiful and very fitting.
