Honestly versatility is arsenal wfc's biggest flex. We have one of the worlds best defensive midfielders and both she and her younger version, malin gut, can play as centre backs. Malin even spend a whole season in that position because of, guess what, injuries.
Malin is also very strong going forward and could even play as a number 8 if needed. Katie McCabe is a great winger but fought herself into being a decent left back and does arsenal proud in both positions. Our striker, viv, can just switch positions with jill if
That's what they want to do that day. We have a cb that works perfectly as a midfielder and has spend many days in that position. Add that both Leah and Lotte are very strong going forward and function as fullbacks if needed, lotte actually has played many games as a RB before.
Then there is Caitlin Foord, who can play at wing and as a no. 9 and has even been a RB earlier in her career. Beth Mead playing most games as a winger can play as a striker too. Both dvd and jordan are midfielders but can play as wingers and eventhough
That doesn't have my personal preference they do quite well in that position. Ending this way too long thread with lisa 'versatility' Evans who has enough energy to make every position work for her but does arsenal most pride as a winger and as a RB
