“One (drug price problem) is the list prices set by drug companies, which almost no patient actually pays..”

28.9 million Americans do not have health insurance, so must pay list price to survive @dylanlscott⁩. Stop parroting false Phrma talking points https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2020/12/7/22158418/joe-biden-prescription-drug-prices-agenda
Every IDDM patient has at some point paid list price for insulin to survive. That’s 7 million Americans and one RX. Journalists like @dylanlscott should do research and stop implying Americans without health insurance are “outliers” so Phrma can justify list price gouging.
The 1200% list price increase on insulin affects every single decision I make in life, and I’m privileged enough to have health insurance. But NO ONE can depend on such a broken system to cover thousands of dollars every month when our lives are on the line. LIST PRICES MATTER.
List prices are what we pay if we lose our jobs, get kicked off our parents insurance, or can’t afford health insurance premiums. Patients can’t exist in “best case scenarios” wo planning for worst case, aka paying list prices. Bc if I lose coverage, I pay list or I die.
