Snipers in supposed PA controlled area during Jewish holiday when Israel closed old city so settlers could tour

2. Same day, Palestinians unable 2 return home or access medical appointments, all so illegal settlers can tour the old city of Hebron. In this photo my good friend @Issaamro tries to negotiate so he can his son home, he did not succeed!

3. 1000s of illegal settlers visited the area, to enable this we counted almost 200 Palestinian shops being forcibly closed by Israel impacting an already strangled economy.

4. Different Jewish holiday, same closing down of large areas. Here we see settlers taking through a racist flag whilst chanting racist songs, that included "Mohammad is a dog". Some of these settlers turned over tables of wares of Palestinians.

5. Same day, Palestinians denied access to their businesses, unable to visit their homes or their family in the souk for much of the day!

6. All Palestinians can do is look on as soldiers intimate the community on one of their regular sweeps of the Palestinian city.

7. Children having to navigate around soldiers, often looking terrified, we saw children being arrested for no discernable reason.

8. Children looking on as soldiers finish one of their sweeps of the day, after which they lock the gate closing access to the 'sterile zone' of Shuhada St. Always there.

9. This rudimentary checkpoint is at the bottom of narrow stone stairs that lead to a kindergarten! Students & teachers were stopped & made to show their IDs whilst on the stairs!

10. Locally known as the 'Apartheid Road', this is where Palestinians were frequently locked in. The wider road with tarmac we were told by soldiers is for 'Jews' only, although they will often allow some tourists on it.

11. This is just around the corner on the apartheid Road. This is what Palestinians of all ages have to navigate to go to school, to go home, visit family etc.

12. NOT a photo I took one I saw online, you may recognise, but I saw similar levels of violence. A child being arrested.

13. A very recognisable photo of a child being arrested in Hebron in 2017, again, not my photo. Children of 12+, occasionally less are regularly arrested, detained, tortured in violation of UNCRC see @DCIPalestine 4 more info.
