I am going to watch every heist movie known to man and review it in one tweet.
Heat (1995)
IMDb: 8.2 ⭐️

Inside man (2006)
IMDb: 7.6 ⭐️

Very good. Reminds me of playing among us. I loved the twist. But, like most movies, I did not understand the ending.
Oceans 11 (2001)
IMDb: 7.7 ⭐️
Cassie: 8 ⭐️

Very good. I understood what was happening. It was clever. I had heard a lot about George Clooney and expected him to be hotter. It would have been better and shorter without the shitty love interest.
Oceans 12 (2004)
IMDb: 6.5 ⭐️
Cassie: 1 ⭐️

I watched this less than a week ago and I don’t remember the plot enough to review it.
Oceans 13 (2007)
IMDb: 6.9 ⭐️
Cassie: 5 ⭐️

I didn’t realize the guy with a big nose was Matt Damon with a prosthetic. It made me feel dumb and I didn’t like it. Sabotaging the hotel reviewer made me kinda sad so I’m glad he got a lil present at the end.

I liked all the colors.
Oceans 8 (2018)
IMDb: 6.9 ⭐️
Cassie: 6 ⭐️

Sandra Bullocks dress was gorgeous. Anne Hathaway’s was hideous.

Despite none of the actresses being likable, I enjoyed this movie.
The usual suspects (1995)
IMDb: 8.5 ⭐️
Cassie: 3 ⭐️

Why was everyone always so sweaty before 2000? I thought this was going to be a comedy, so I’m mad there weren’t jokes. I’m mad the guys didn’t work together on an elaborately planned theft. This is not what I wanted.
Point break (1991)
IMDb: 7.3⭐️
Cassie: either 2 or 8 ⭐️

The hair on that Nazi surf gang?
The “surfer accents”?

I’ve never before seen a movie where the moment of clarity is inspired by looking at someone’s asshole.

I also almost died skydiving so that scene was special to me.
A fish called Wanda (1988)
IMDb: 7.5 ⭐️
Cassie: 4 ⭐️

Jamie Lee Curtis kisses every man in England. All of her outfits are incredible.

But they’re mean to a man with a stutter and there’s no mind-blowing twist.

Do British people really cut their nails with tiny scissors?
Reservoir dogs (1992)
IMDb: 8.3 ⭐️
Cassie: 7 ⭐️

This movie is also “among us”; post-heist Brown is dead and Orange almost dead, and eventually we find out [REDACTED] was the imposter

Something about it visually feels like a John Hughes movie

Wish I got to see a good heist tho
Baby driver (2017)
IMDb: 7.6 ⭐️
Cassie: 5 ⭐️

Kinda too cheesy sometimes.

Debora should have given up on that relationship on at least 6 different occasions. Painful to watch.

I like the commodores.

I prefer when the heisters win in the end.
Logan Lucky (2017)
IMDb: 7 ⭐️
Cassie: 8 ⭐️

Good foreshadowing AND multi-step preparation montage!
Creative setting!
Underdog story!
Actors you can’t really place but recognize fondly from somewhere!

-1 ⭐️ cause I don’t like Adam Driver
-1 ⭐️ because the child was unnecessary
Now you see me (2013)
IMDb: 7.3 ⭐️
Cassie: 6 ⭐️

I love magic! I love Vegas shows! I love isla fisher! We started out very strong!

I did not see the twist coming, but this is not an endorsement of the twist, because unfortunately the twist was stupid.
The widows (2018)
IMDb: 6.9⭐️
Cassie: 7.5⭐️

This has character building galore, and not a super fun heist, but shockingly I liked it v much.

My favorite character was Viola Davis’s teeny dog.

Love when heists have those “pay it forward” envelope-of-cash scenes at the end.
The town (2010)
IMDb: 7.5 ⭐️
Cassie: 8 ⭐️

There was a love story but it mattered to the plot so it’s fine.

I love all the heisting costumes, esp when they are strategic.

This is a v good movie with a pretty satisfying ending.
