Everyone keeps asking me how Mitch McConnell keeps getting re-elected in Kentucky.
Mitch’s argument during his campaigns is essentially “I’m a Senate leader, therefore I can get the most done for Kentucky.”
It never matters that he has failed this state for 40 years.

We are last place in just about everything that matters: education, income, health, etc.
Part of the problem is that Republicans here don’t think the government can actually help them and they will vote for anyone with an R next to their name to save them from the “socialists”

Also, the recent campaign against him was a disaster and incompetent. That’s all I will say about that.
Mitch dominates the politics of Kentucky from national all the way down to local races. Opposing him from within the GOP is political suicide.
