Bryan Edwards has been MIA in LV so far this season. He’s battled injury and now is scrapping for snaps. How dire is his situation currently, and what’s that mean for his dynasty value?

Let’s take a look 👇🏼
Since 2010, there have been 141 rookie wide receivers that played at least 8 games and amassed less than 200 receiving yards.

By my count, only 4 (!) have ever returned a top-24 season in their career.

Those players:
1) Antonio Brown: 167 yards in 9 games as a rookie. Went on to produce 6 WR1 seasons and 1 WR2 season

2) Adam Thielen: 137 yds in 16 games. Went on to produce 2 WR1 seasons so far
3) DJ Chark: 174 yards in 11 games. Went on to produce 1 WR2 seasons so far

4) Rishard Matthews: 151 yards in 8 games. Went on to produce 1 WR2 season
Notable current players that had < 200 receiving yards as a rookie in at least 8 games:

- Andy Isabella
- Miles Boykin
- JJAW
- Curtis Samuel
- Josh Reynolds
- Mike Williams

🤮

Perhaps joining that list in 2020 is Bryan Edwards 😭😭
It breaks my heart to doubt my draft darling from the 2020 rookie class, but things aren’t looking good for him.

Edwards is going to have to do what <3% of the players w/ similar rookie seasons have been able to do if he’s ever going to be fantasy relevant
The good news is this: Edwards had an elite College Dominator and Breakout Age (S/O Player Profiler) so he has shown the ability to dominate.

While Waller is signed through 2023, competing outside receiver Agholor is a FA after this season
Edwards is the perfect player to take a flier on if you can obtain for a 3rd or as a throw-in.

If you own Edwards shares, if you can get out for a 2021 2nd, the odds are in your favor that you won’t regret it down the road.

What’re you doing with this forgotten rookie WR?
