Show that you're ready to do well in the internship, even if you don't have much experience. Have you started from scratch and done well in other jobs before? Have you researched something else? What problems have you worked to solve or manage? 3/7
If you don't have much experience that's okay! Highlight the skills you do have, and try translating them to what you think might be needed for the internship. 4/7
If you want to improve particular skills during your internship, say so! [It helps to read about what the lab does, to get a more realistic sense of the types of experience each lab can offer.] 5/7
