What Is The Best Solution To SHOW People The Truth?

Could it be a *re-vote*?

Would that even be legal?

Why would anyone want that?

Thread continues below👇

First I'll present the evidence that it's been floated and what if any legal precedent may exist.

As in the above tweet, Trump floated this idea in his recent 46-minute speech re. the election integrity, but also says it'd be inappropriate.

Gen. Flynn recently shared a link suggesting the need for "limited martial law" in order to "hold a new election".

"Nobody knows what's happening."

Trump brings up a great point that has been niggling away at me since this whole mess came to be:

How do you know the real results when they've been turned into such a disaster?

5/
Sure we can forensically audit the D_____n machines and perhaps get a more realistic tally but who will trust it?

We can throw out ballots that were illegal, but how do we make sure we get all the the right ones?

6/
Has the well not been effectively poisoned from ever really knowing precisely accurate results?

(Maybe there's a way I'm missing...)

Is a re-vote a good solution?

Would it even be legal?

Here's an article from 2017 from 538 when they were decrying the 2016 election a fraud of foreign interference (as was probably actually the case this year).

Per that article (and accurately so), the Constitution leaves the administration of votes and adjudicating their outcomes primarily to the state.

So have states used revotes as remedies in similar situations?

Yes.

Here's a 2008 case out of Illinois involving questionable results in which the IL supreme court upheld a revote:

10/
Here's another one out of from 2003 out of Indiana, this time involving fraud, in which the judge said the original voting process was "perverted".

(seems familiar to me...)

This one is my favorite: a revote upheld by the Connecticut Supreme Court involving a voting machine with a "mechanical defect" with a *statistically impossible* result.

Sound familiar?

12/
So there's your precedent (and those aren't even all of them).

I haven't come across any instances where a revote was ordered and then struck down under similar circumstances. (Although they certainly may exist.)

13/
Another note re: the last CT case mentioned...

the voting machine only "malfunctioned" in 1 district, but the courts ordered a full revote for the race in question across the city.

Will a similar argument be made for states with some problem areas and not in others?

14/
So if there is precedent, why is this a desirable solution?

The obvious reason is that it allows for a fair election if paper ballots and proper observers are allowed.

The results would be unquestionable, and Trump would win in a landslide (I guarantee it.)

/15
The other and perhaps even better reason, is that it would be a massive friggin red pill shoved into the public's otherwise low information diet.

Think about it: the legacy press would HAVE to cover it.

/16
Even if the period to get it done was only a week, what better time to drop more from:

O_gate
The Laptop from Hell
More election integrity pills
etc. etc. etc.

More truth bombs, with more eyes on.

/17
It would be quite the show.

All that said, I have no idea if it will go down like that. I just wanted to share my thoughts as I couldn't get them out of my head.

Thanks for listening and sharing yours as you see fit.

Whatever is coming...NOTHING will stop it.
