If you bought into that hype you will likely feel a strong mix of emotions when you finally play it. One of them will be disappointment, because nothing can live up to this perfect imagine masterpiece that you've built in your idealized mind palace of art.
So a couple days from release, as reviews are coming in, maybe take a moment to center those expectations as best as you can. Especially after how rough this year has been.
