and there are parts of his ideology that dont make sense. if you wanted to put as much money as possible into the city, as he claims, you would hire a BTV build crew and pay them living wages, and have all new storefronts be available only for BTV locals to start businesses

but instead, they hire out of state developers to make room for corporate chains. just an absolute money suck out of burlington. at least if we were paying BTVers to do nothing we’d at least be putting some stimulus in our local economy
