Today, a four year old child and her mother were supposed to travel to Ethiopia after Egna Legna paid for their ticket from Beirut. The mother was struggling as domestic worker in Lebanon and had a lack of food and living space. But Lebanese airport security arrested her tonight.

She committed no crime. But in Lebanon most employers make false accusations of theft when their worker escape abuse they do this to no pay salary. So when she arrived at the airport, they stopped her. Her child was one of 17 children who we buy tickets for tonight.

The other children and mothers are on the plane. But now because of the false accusation of theft, the mother and child is about to be transferred to a prison together. I spoke to her on the phone and she is crying. We finished her paperwork bought clothes luggage everything.

Just for her to be taken to prison. I'm angry. They don't feel sorry for these innocent mothers and children. The mother suffer enough under kafala now the child will also be trauma because she will got to a Lebanese prison aged only 4. This is injustice against domestic workers.
