why do people act like adult aros and adult aces don't exist

yes some people find out later that maybe they weren't ace and/or aro but it's not subject to just those who identified as aro and/or ace it can happen no matter what sexuality or gender someone ID's with

some people figure themselves out straight away and some never do and that's okay

there's nothing wrong with realising a label doesn't fit you anymore, or realising you misunderstood part of yourself

but you can't just group a whole sexuality and romantic orientation under "this will happen to all of you" when talking about id-ing with the wrong label

there's aros & aces who figured out they're ace and/or aro as adults, there's those who've identified as such for years, there's those who have always known either knowing the terminology or just a gut feeling
