Trump is a dark figure. I wrote a little essay to this effect back in December of 2015... on Facebook. Unfortunately I deleted my account in 2016 so itâs gone, but I want to talk about this a little bit here, with a thread.

I believe that the loser (this is my new title for him) decided a long time ago that the only way he would secure his place in history would be to become a dark figure. It wasnât a stretch for him, really... he was already an asshole... but he made a conscious choice.

This choice coincided with his visit to Russia in 1987. It is my belief (that others share) that he made his first contacts with KGB operatives on this trip, and that Putin had singled him out as a potential agent of chaos, ready to be groomed.

the loser was hemorrhaging money, looking for new revenue streams/scams... presenting a novel opportunity for Putin to manipulate him. The loser was a wide eyed kid in Russia... where money buys you literally anything and power makes you immune.

To understand the power structure in Russia at the time, I would recommend @peterpomeranzev âs excellent memoir on the subject, Nothing Is True And Everything Is Possible.

Taking a little break... will continue shortly.
By the late 90âs, he had lost about a billion dollars... he was desperate to find a new revenue stream, but no bank would lend to him. Within a few years, though, he started securing loans from Deutsche Bank, notorious for russian money laundering.

In the last two decades Deutsche Bank has been the source for about 2.5 Billion for the loserâs projects, and itâs clear that Putin has basically been the guarantor for those loans.

Once he began taking money from this new source, the âdeal with the devilâ was done. Putin now owned him, because he controlled the money stream... now he could take a more active role in developing his new agent. The loser, being a loser, was happy to play along.

By 2013, the loser was thoroughly owned, then he went back to Moscow. The details of this trip have been under great scrutiny, but the consensus opinion seems to be that it was on this trip that the plan for his presidential run was fleshed out.

As a perk, Putin also encouraged him to plan for trump tower Moscow... a project Putin would later leverage against him.

Itâs also been suggested that Putin was instrumental in promoting The Apprentice... through Mark Burnett... which makes perfect sense, as he needed a vehicle with which to raise the profile of his agent.

So... tying it all together... trump craved power, and was not averse to the idea of achieving it with the help of a dark figure... and indeed becoming a dark figure himself, to obtain historical significance... to cement his place in the history books.

His willingness to go along with extremely radical agendas espoused by those around him has been a godsend to people like Miller and Bannon... but he has no real position on these policies himself, other than a means to stir up the base, and increase his authoritarian image.
13/
13/
He is TOTALLY COMMITTED to this role now, as the authoritarian... the strongman.
And herein lies his current conundrum. He can see that power going away.... and... What we all need to remember right now in this moment, is that NOTHING is off the table. Nothing is too dark.

And herein lies his current conundrum. He can see that power going away.... and... What we all need to remember right now in this moment, is that NOTHING is off the table. Nothing is too dark.
14/
He is a man with everything to lose... who is cornered.. BUT still wields enormous power. This is absolutely the moment where he is the most dangerous threat to the nation. This cannot be understated, and his party has shown no interest in containing him, making them traitors
15/
15/
I do believe that we will survive this... as a nation and as a democracy... but the pain heâs likely to inflict upon us in the next 7 weeks could be massive. Heâs going to go all out, because for him, itâs his last chance to shine in his role... The Dark Figure.
End.
End.
So... basically weâre at this stage of the game right now.
