Almost everything you encounter in your car which is annoying is there because drivers can’t be trusted.
Speed bumps?
Yeah they’re only there because drivers can’t be trusted.
Speed cameras.
Drivers can’t be trusted to not speed.
Those stupid things where you have to give way to the traffic island blocking your side of the road. Cos drivers can’t be trusted.
Railings at the side of the pavement are annoying for pedestrians and take up pavement space. They’re only there because drivers can’t be trusted.
Parking tickets only exist because drivers can’t be trusted.
Kerbs. Pretty sure they’re only there because drivers can’t be trusted. And they must be an absolute nightmare for pedestrians on wheels.
The lollipop lady is only there because drivers can’t be trusted to not drive like murderers near their kids’ friends.
I only ride with a camera because drivers can’t be trusted.
I only want cycle lanes, which cost drivers money, because drivers can’t be trusted.
