Supported Causes: AIDS, Cancer, Environment, Music Support & Therapy, Poverty, Children, Bullying, Mental Health, Homelessness, LGBTQ+, Black Lives Matter Movement, Worldwide Sanitary Crisis, among others.
American Foundation for AIDS Research – Foundation on AIDS research, prevention, treatment & education. AMFAR’S annual Cinema against AIDS has been an important fundraising event since its foundation back in 93. Rita Ora has been a presence since 2015.
CHIME FOR CHANGE - Raising funds & awareness for projects that promote education, health and justice for young girls and women. Rita has been involved since 2013, through event presences and fundraising concerts.
City of Hope– Institution dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Rita has been involved since 2018.
DKMS – its mission is to save lives by recruiting bone marrow donors for leukemia patients. Rita has attended their Love Gala in 2017 which aimed to raise money to help fund the registration of lifesaving bone marrow donors. She has been involved ever since.
Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation – cancer treatments and cure research. Rita has been involved and has been a part of their fundraising events since 2013.
Greenpeace- Addresses crucial worldwide threats to planet biodiversity and environment. Rita has supported the cause since 2015 when she took part on the “Save the Artic” campaign.
Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation – Raises awareness for environmental issues. Among other actions, the foundation has helped the victims of Harvey hurricane in Houston (2017), as Rita volunteered to donate & help deliver needed items for the victims. She has also been involved since.
Nordoff Robbins – It is a music therapy association that uses music to reach children and adults whose lives are constrained by illness, disability, trauma or exclusion. Rita has been involved with fundraising events since 2015 where she was also honoured with Best Female Award.
Red Cross – Red Cross provides help to victims of disasters, helps people prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies & promotes universal humanitarian principles. Rita joined & donated to Red Cross during Grenfell Tower fire events in London, 2017
(cont) She also took part in a charity single: “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel, which aimed to raise funds for the victims. This year, she took part in TikTok fundraising series to get funds to the British Red Cross.
Sightsavers International – It combats blindness in developing countries as it also provides education, counselling, and training to blind people. Rita joined in 2019 as a part of a fundraising/auction partnered with ebay. She has been involved ever since.
Small Steps Project – dedicated to support children around the world who live on rubbish dumbs. Rita has been involved since 2013 through money and shoes’ donations. Last year she has donated pairs of her Giuseppe Zanotti collection for auctions, among others.
The CyberSmile Foundation – Committed to end all forms of digital abuse/bullying online. They promote diversity and inclusion. Rita joined in 2018 alongside with Rimmel London on a successful beauty campaign: “I will not be deleted” against cyberbullying. She has been part since.
UNICEF – Rita has supported UNICEF since 2013. She was featured in the ‘No Place Like Home’ campaign to raise awareness to the crisis in Syria. She has also visited & supported the work of UNICEF in Kosovo.
(cont) She has performed numerous events on behalf of UNICEF and in reflection of her dedication and commitment to the cause, she was made UNICEF UK ambassador in 2019. She has also been supporting UNICEF through the pandemic through ‘Generation Covid’.
United Nations– Rita joined UNF this year (2020) to help raising funds to the Covid-19 Solidary Response Fund by WHO. As so, she created & launched the #StopTheSpread merch, having all proceeds going to the respective fund.
(cont) Alongside with that, Rita was a part of a charity single: ‘Times Like These’ to raise money for the same fund. Back in 2014 Rita had already been involved in another charity single: ‘Do They Know it’s Christmas?’ in order to raise money to prevent the Ebola Crisis spread.
Mental Health Foundation – Rita has joined the Foundation in 2018 donating & spreading awareness on the importance of mental health issues. During 2020 she has also supported ‘I AM WHOLE UK’ concerning mental health issues connected to the digital era.
Homelessness Supporter: Rita has been involved in many actions regarding homelessness support such as Shelter’s Sleep Walk for Homeless Day in 2019 or a charity concert she performed for Centrepoint, in order to raise funds to help homeless people.
LGBTQ+ & BLM activist – Rita has shared & supported numerous movements such as the LGBTQ Freedom Fund, Artists For Black Lives, The Trevor Project, Transgender Law Center, The Okra Project, House of GG, Marsha P. Johnson Institute, among others.
(cont) - She has always raised her voice to LGBTQ+ rights and injustices. Rita has also launched a song in 2018 called “Proud” in partnership with Absolute Vodka, promoting personal acceptance.
