Hello Friends! Getting books (or anything) to you in time for the holidays is officially "getting dicey" so here's a backup plan for you so you can still give the book you want even if hasn't gotten there...

Print out a copy of the cover and send that ahead of time. It'll be something to open AND you can write a note on the back. Maybe why you picked it or just a holiday greeting or go ahead, write a full on letter....

If you decorate, you can then hang the printed cover up with the decorations until the physical book actually gets there. Then, the holidays aren't over until all the decorations come down! Maybe you're meeting online...

Of course neither of these is the same as handling someone a gift wrapped book to unwrap in front of you but well being in a community sometimes means doing one thing when you'd rather do another so everyone is healthier, safer, and happier...
