My first run of Cyberpunk 2077 was as a complete disaster of a man, wearing a pink vest, shooting my way out of every situation. I had 5-6 days to play it. I beat it this morning at 4 a.m. Here are my thoughts on it so far. https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/reviews/cyberpunk-impressions/
Cyberpunk is expansive to the open world design in ways we haven't seen since Red Dead 2. Night City feels like Kamurocho expanded to the size of a Grand Theft Auto city. I can't say I saw nearly everything. https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/reviews/cyberpunk-impressions/
Cyberpunk is a buggy mess. The game wasn't as bad for me at the start, but toward the end of the game, it started to collapse. Every main character was touched by hilarious bugs. The last frame before credits was bugged, I thought it was the actual ending https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/reviews/cyberpunk-impressions/
I'm eager to revisit Night City. I really am. There's so much I KNOW I didn't do. There's clearly game there I didn't partake in. Counting on a Day 1 patch? Good luck. The game's bugs run deep at every aspect of the experience, UI to cutscenes. https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/reviews/cyberpunk-impressions/
KEANU REEVES!!!!!
I dare not spoil his role. It's safe to say that he is the star of the experience. If you want a cyberpunk experience with HOURS of a very committed Keanu Reeves performance, this is the game. https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/reviews/cyberpunk-impressions/
